Lily DARDENNE
Born in Liège, Lily DARDENNE comes from a family turned towards art and culture, her father is amateur musician "saxophonist", she is the little cousin of the filmmaker brothers. She evolved since the earliest childhood in Anglo-Saxon musical culture but does not hide her interest in French songs (S.Gainsbourg, C.Nougaro, J.Brel, G.Brassens, ... Barbara, Catherine Ringer, Juliette , Mauranne, Maxime Le Forestier ...). While studying the piano, she chose to take courses in comedy, art of speech and operatic singing in her hometown. After obtaining roles in comedies, operettas and operas and courses and the scenes of France, Belgium, Italy.
In August 2010 at Golf Juan, following the unexpected absence of Nathalie Manfrino, Roberto Alagna asked Lily Dardenne to go on stage to sing in duet "tribute to Luis Mariano".
For reasons of health, Lily will have to put her career in parenthesis and that's how she will focus on French songs, traditional songs and composition. She returns to a more intimate world of song lyrics, where she reveals with distinction and charm her great sensibility. She will perform songs of Georges BRASSENS on May 16, 2009 during the night of the museums of Sète, in front of a conquered public fallen in love.
In view of this success, this is an opportunity for Lily DARDENNE to offer the public an unprecedented interpretation of her most beautiful songs in tribute to BRASSENS. In 2012 she will produce an album dedicated to Georges Brassens ... "Arrangements of
Robert le Gall and prefaced by Roberto Alagna.
Serge Cazzani, nephew of the legendary artist will say: "That would have pleased Georges ...". This self-produced album will receive a welcome more than favorable in the south of France and in Brittany.
In her concerts, Lily Dardenne makes us rediscover the poetry highlighted by a musical accompaniment of high quality, she deploys a perfect diction, an interpretaton that carries us. Lily Dardenne has been able to revisit the lyrics of these great writers with humility and talent.
During her concerts, she also interprets with great accuracy the classics of traditional or lyrical songs.
A highlight of her career in March 2013, Lily Dardenne will play "The Death of Isolde" by Wagner under the baton of Maestro
Philippe Bender at the Croisette Theater in Cannes.
Today she turns to writing and asserts herself as a songwriter with among others "Who is she?" And "Should we forget everything?" They receive a favorable and promising reception from the public.
She goes on a tour of 21 concerts, entitled "Between legends and lyricism" through the chapels, churches and abbeys of Brittany in July and August 2016. Accompanied by musicians Pierre Bluteau (guitar, tiplet), Jean Wellers (guitar, violin), Robert Le Gall (guitar, mandolin, violin). The tour will be in partnership with Radio France Bleu and the support of Ouest-France and the telegram.
Lily Dardenne will reap a more than favorable success on this first appearance in Brittany.
In July and August 2017, Lily Dardenne renewed her appearance in Brittany in a tour of 10 concerts in the chapels, a more intimate and acoustic concert accompanied by the musician Jean Wellers. She will also be invited by Mr. Régis Huon de Penanster to give a concert at the Château de Kergrist. She will share a register of Lyric and traditional songs.
2018, Lily Dardenne works on a project of creation in a register of "Songs and Traditional European Dances" of which she formed the group "ANIMA CELTICA". She offered her first performance concert on July 28th at the Mûrier chapel in Batz-sur-Mer which was a real success!
2019, Year of meeting with Portugal, Julio Pereira will ask him to meet him for a musical collaboration.
She will also realize, several Franco-Portuguese duets between the declamation and the original project song which will earn her a real interest by the Portuguese public. Duets Jacques Brel, Brassens and Fernando Pessoa, ...
She will be invited to the Charavines festival on August 1st where she will present for the first time on stage with Carlos Sampaio the Franco-Portuguese duos which had a real success with the French public.
